Add Inception Network to Your Wallet

This guide will help you add the Inception network to your wallet so you can interact with the blockchain, send INCP tokens, and use decentralized applications.

The easiest way to add Inception to your wallet is through our one-click button on the main site:

  1. Visit inceptionera.com/network
  2. Click the "Add to Wallet" button
  3. Approve the network addition in your wallet popup

This automatically configures all the settings below for you.

Manual Configuration​

If you prefer to add the network manually or the one-click button doesn't work, follow these steps:

Use these exact values when adding Inception to your wallet:

Step-by-Step (MetaMask)​

  1. Open MetaMask and click the network dropdown at the top
  2. Click "Add Network" or "Add a network manually"
  3. Enter the network settings from the table above
  4. Click "Save"
  5. Switch to the Inception network

Step-by-Step (Other Wallets)​

Most Ethereum-compatible wallets follow a similar process:

  1. Look for "Add Network", "Custom Network", or "Network Settings"
  2. Enter the network settings from the table above
  3. Save and switch to the Inception network

Verify the Network​

After adding the network, verify it's configured correctly:

  • Chain ID should show as 1805 (or 0x70D in hex format)
  • Currency should display as INCP
  • You should be able to view your address on the explorer (when live)

Visit the block explorer and search for your wallet address to confirm connectivity (when live).

Troubleshooting​

Can't Connect to RPC​

  • Check your internet connection
  • Try removing and re-adding the network
  • Ensure you're using the correct RPC URL: https://rpc.inceptionera.com (when live)
  • Check the Status page for endpoint availability

Wrong Chain ID​

  • Double-check that Chain ID is set to 1805 (decimal) or 0x70D (hex)
  • Some wallets require decimal format: use 1805
  • Others may require hex format: use 0x70D

Transactions Failing​

  • Ensure you have INCP for gas fees
  • Check the Status page for network health
  • Verify your transaction settings match the network's requirements

Security Notes​

Important
  • Always verify the RPC URL matches exactly: https://rpc.inceptionera.com (when live)
  • Never enter your seed phrase or private keys on any website
  • Only add networks from trusted sources
  • Bookmark the official site to avoid phishing attempts
